The new crow merchant and banker take a solid two seconds to open when you interact with them. Past merchants open nearly instantly. I assume this is due to their unique animation but this is not acceptable for 10,000 crowns.
I would advise people not to waste their money on them until this is fixed. If it is ever fixed...

Considering I open them on 18 characters at least once each per day for crafting writs, then dozens of times more as I play, the unresponsive nature of it will add up.
Yes, if I pay the price of a full AAA game for something, I expect it to work right.

You don't get a preview of the animation and it does not say "has a loading screen" on the crown store listing. Amazingly, I did not use the item before buying it. I'm not sure how to explain such a basic concept to someone who has their heart set on being antagonistic.
Why are you questioning me for posting this when you could just buy the thing if you like it or not buy it if you don't? Is there a problem with posting this information for others who may be bothered by it?

It's completely fair and valid that the delay will not bother everyone. This is how to not be upset by it without being rude.
I personally fly through menus so fast because I have so much to do, that any delay is bothersome. I think they're really cool and the animations are neat, but I did not pay to feel like I'm lagging when I try to open a menu.EP: Slania Isara : Harambe Was an Inside Job1 -

✭I'm also experiencing this delay. Of note, I'm not talking about the delay while the animation of the crow flying over to me and landing on my arm plays. I'm talking about a delay before that animation even starts. Then the animation plays out, but I'm not bothered by that. I am frustrated by having to wait while the crows decide whether or not they're going to answer my call.2 -

I talk to them, the game does the typical "Wait while we load the conversation" thing that all NPCs have, then I hit a button as soon as their dialogue starts and I can select my options. I don't need to sit through the animation to use them.0
