I left the pages in inventory. As I work my way through my alts, I destroy pages as I go, (selling anything worth more then 200gold to top off my sale slots). I've cleared 4 of 18 so far.
Right click -> Mark as junk.
Then go to your junk tab and you should be able to destroy all of them in 1 click.
I know I can do that on PC, but I'm not 100% it's not from an addon (like Dustman), but I think it's base game
I was going to complain about this, and suggest the ridiculously obvious expedient of allowing them to stack, but I figured it would never be done (given that stacking had clearly not occurred to anyone ahead of time, I figured it was unlikely ever to be considered important). I stuffed them all into mules on my second account, and set a calendar alarm for myself to start trying to move them on the guild store after a couple of months (presumably after they had stopped selling for 1g, etc).
The alarm went off, and I started shuffling them around in preparation for selling them... and I JUST NOW NOTICED, they indeed do now stack! We can keep all of them in a reasonable amount of inventory space. They also now can be placed in the bank, which simplifies the process of consolidating them out of many characters into one (in the beginning I had to mail them back and forth from one account to another).
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I will still be selling them, but they won't be incomprehensibly/flagrantly invasive any more. I can also actually play/level some of these mule characters now (always on my bucket list, but having to store this flood of style pages was one of the main impediments).
Hopefully this approach to jubilee and/or other event items will not be repeated. Please?
