I can't get Inner Light to work.

Spent a couple hours trying to detect Nightblades with Inner Light, standing right by them when they Cloak, and it never worked.
Fast forward to me logging in on my Nightblade and I'm ALWAYS detected by it.
I am confusion.

✭✭✭✭✭The radius is ultra small and it is often reported to be entirely bugged as an ability.
If you want to detect Nightblades use Detection Potions, Revealing Flare or Radiant Magelight.
Another alternative is for someone in your group to use the Sentry set, which is low-key amazing for this purpose.1 -

✭The only thing more buggy and inconsistent than inner light/expert hunter at detecting stealth targets is the servers this game runs on. Really at this point the detect mechanic needs to be changed to do what detect pots do for x seconds instead of the essentially useless thing they do now, the ability even displays the detect sign over your head to let you know you’re being seen.0 -

Just seems a waste of magica most of the time to me really, a random tick of boundless is more likely to pull them out.0 -
Vizirith✭✭✭✭Yeah don't use inner light. Radiant is much better if you're purpose is only to detect nbs. Camo hunter and inner light's 6m radius is a joke. You don't even cover all melee radius with it.0
