Orc or Dark Elf for stamina Dragonknight?

My stamDK has been an Orc for a long time now, but I'm thinking of switching to Dark Elf since they have slightly higher Dps now with fire resistance and also better looks, though with less health and healing. What do you think? Would it be an improvement?

Amerises✭✭✭✭If 910 stamina is worth 3,000 crowns, by all means! Your damage will increase by less than a percent though, so maybe it's not worth it to you.
I agree though, can't stand high elf, orc, or Breton looks...1 -

I buy the bundle with gold, so it's not an issue. I just wanna know if Dark Elf is really better in PVE.0 -

Are you chasing server-wide leaderboard scores?
But then you're also playing stamina DPS so that pretty much rules you out of PvE leaderboards unfortunately.
Outside of super hard mode trial achievements and so on nobody cares what race you are in PvE, it won't be perceptible.PC NA1 -

keep in mind that fire resistance got nerfed heavily. You are not immune to the burning status effect anymore. So if you are looking at the extra racial stats outside of pure pve dps, in my opinion Orsimer is superior with the extra healing and speed.
If it's worth to do a race change to get a tiny amount more of dps is up to you.
I did the change from Orsimer to Dunmer before Dunmer became meta (and before the fire resistance nerf) and I regret nothing, because now I can switch between Magicka and Stamina DK as I wish. I was running as Magicka DK for a year or so

✭StamDK is about 15% behind the curve in DPS, anyways. Your racial choice would equal 3 to 5 missed Light Attacks over a 21mil dummy trial.
If you want to be competitive, take high elf magicka necromancer. Seriously, spending money on that, Crown or Gold, is not smart.
For Soloing Arenas and Dungeons, StamDK is a nice choice. And Orsimer would be equal to Dunmer there.No Effort, No Reward?

MrMazurski✭✭✭I dont think so you will get any considerable benefits if you switch races for pve. Actually even with orc you can easy switch for magdk.
I have main stamdk and it's just a bad choice on pve. You have 11 better choices. I don't think you will break 30k dps even on a dungeon) StamDk working very well only on Cyro- Where "Update on Cyrodiil Performance & Upcoming AOE Tests"? I wish ZOS would stop kicking players' balls, especially those on Cyro

✭✭✭✭✭Do I think you are going to feel a meaningful difference? Nope. Is Dunmer better on paper. Yes. Are they the master race regardless of passives. Heck Yeah. Haha.
If looking for mathematical best, you should really be deciding between Dunmer and Khajiit TBH.1
