More horses at the stable!

Can we have a few more models of horses to buy at the stables?

I have grown up in a farm and I really enjoy having horse mounts. When I'm in Cyrodiil, I feel more immersed when riding my horses around.
I know it's not a popular kind of mount, but would it be possible to use the same model as the ones we can buy at the stable to apply new coats?

Normal horses, just a different coat pattern.

You can make them expensive (300k?) so people don't just go and buy them all. It would also add some perceived value.
Or even better, make them available to buy with AP as well, so that would be another good reason to grind in PVP, which I enjoy a lot.

It should take a day to come up with a handful since it's just changing the coat.

EDIT: it would also add to the number of mounts we can get off store, which is not very large (great job with Endeavors though).

I agree, plus a gold sink, which the economic people say we need and I believe it.

I wouldn’t mind this. However, please do NOT use the base game horse models. They aren’t the prettiest, and we’ve seen what zos is capable of with their new models. Have you seen the base game horse eye? They don’t blink!

True! Didn't want to propose anything too bold it won't be translated in instant cash reward for ZOS.

New models would be even better though for sure. Those are probably from 2014.

It’s weird though, @luide55. Some of the new horses also use the old models. They bounce back and forth.

I always thought it was sad there wasn’t more in-game mounts available. They want to monetize it fine, but no reason we can’t also earn it in game. We can buy houses for either loads of gold or crowns/real money, why not horses?

Horse are a popular type of mount so I would guess that's the reason we didn't get to buy more of them for gold.

Would be nice indeed.

I would love if they added more mounts to buy with gold, or even AP. One thing I noticed that I thought was creative was the number of pets and mounts that actually have names in the new zones. It's a nice touch, especially since a couple of them can be interacted with. Who knew that dancing with a dog or petting a cat would be so damned enjoyable?

I agree except for the "making them expensive" part. When you're a new player, 40k already seems super expensive.

But yeah, adding more horse colors to the stables would be a fantastic idea. It's about time.

They're terrible, but somehow still manage to be better than their newer "improved" model, whose back legs just look even more broken and deformed.

I don't think any horses blink. At least none I own.

I don't think any horses blink. At least none I own.

I’m not sure. The newer horses least have eyes that don’t look painted on

It would be nice with more horses. If nothing else, it would balance out all the exotic mounts that abound. It is almost like horses are the most rare of mounts out there. :-P

What I have long wondered is why they haven't made special skins and "clothes" for horses. Perhaps too much work to get it right?

I support this 100%, need more horseys. Just please, don't put any ugly armor on them. I don't buy crown store horses, because they always have stupid looking armor on them.

100% agree. I use an add-on to train my horse, and there is a bug between the add-on and the game where sometimes the next time I interact with a merchant, they are a horse trader that sells three or four horses for gold. I really like the horses & have attempted to buy them. So, they're still in the game, but that feature seems to be permanently disabled.

That's what I mean. Just sell "naked" horses (haha, that sounded dirtier than I meant) and then sell covers, armours and whatnot to "pimp your ride" as it were.

I know LOTRO did it like that, you could pretty much do to your horse what you do to your characters with outfits and colors. That would be azzum I think. :-)

Yes, I would like new mounts too at the stable only if the stable person gives you a quest (5Q to 10Q) to earn these mounts.

There should be other types available for gold at stables as well seeing as not just horses are at stables throughout the game but that would effect the crown store so it wont happen

I would love more "regular" horses that we could buy from the stables, as well as guars. Have for years. I doubt we'll ever get them though. ZOS is pretty committed to churning flashy stuff to sell in the Crown Store. I don't see myself buying anymore mounts at this point, because all that flashy stuff is boring and annoying now because it's everywhere. This mount blinds you with a giant flash of light! That mount is its own mini harrowstorm! That other mount leaves a trail of giant glowing runes on the ground! And this latest one looks like radioactive jello with random rocks stuck to it! It's like the Dro m'Athra senche was super popular because it was the flashiest thing in the game at that point and ZOS saw the dollar signs and went way, way, WAY overboard with that idea, especially with pushing Apex Mounts to sell Crown Crates.

Yes, please, add an "equipment-trader" or shop that we can buy dyeable equipment for the mounts. That would give us so many options for customizing our mounts.

And please, give us chariots.
