Midyear Boon Boxes from Cyrodiil dailies don't count for "Blessed of the Whitestrike" achievement?

Midyear Mayhem achievement "Blessed of the Whitestrike" requires us to acquire Pelinal's Midyear Boon Boxes. Obtaining the Boon Boxes from Rewards for the Worthy (delivered in Mail) definitely count towards achievement; but the Boon Boxes I received from the Cyrodiil "daily" town quests were not counted. Is that by design? Or a bug?

✭✭✭✭✭I know there's currently a bug where two different box objectIDs are dropping, and only one of the two advances the achievement. That also means that the Banner emblems are not dropping as much as they should since they're only dropping from the new boxes.
