Bar swap lag - what is causing this? (Xbox)

When I log into the game initially there is no lag when I bar swap. I am getting bar swap lag that escalates in severity by the minute. After about 30 minutes it is nearly a half second delay.
This is truly an awful bug and nothing has come close to disheartening me like this has. I have to restart every 30 minutes just to be able to fight.
Is there any work around for this? Is there any planned fix? Has this even been acknowledged?

Tolath✭It happened to me the weekend on peek hours. no only in bar swap but in skills as well.

I've had it once, and it was while I was just travelling around guild stores in different zones.
Never had it since. That was like 3 weeks ago.
Yet someone in my guild gets it very often, usually in pvp or trials.
I'm on new Xbox, he's on old. Happened to us in different locations. Different classes. Different skills slotted.
Seems random and very specific, but no idea what it is.0 -

✭✭✭I got it and and my groupmate got it too, during peak pvp hours.PS4 I switched off an opal weapon hoping the game had difficulty rendering the particles etc. Haven't had it since but doubt it's just fancy weapons graphics lol.Fear is the Mindkiller0 -
hundergrn✭✭✭This can be very annoying indeed.
Usually happened during PvP and high server loads. I think its part of a gradual desync issue from heavy skill use that builds up over time. Also note that many in game factors play into bar swap delay including getting hit, animations, cc, etc but not the point here.

Tolath✭Its not a Client thing its a server load issue,from what i think.
any interaction with the server delays as the server cant handle so many requests.
I think personally that they population to the game and the load to the server increased heavily.
