Manteinance, manteinance and manteinance again...

Hi, Im a returning ESO player, i returned last week, is this normal???? Manteinance nearly all days??? Its better to announce when there is no manteinance... I can understand that an online game needs a weekly manteinance, even one extra manteinance to fix something puntual, but each time I have a free day there is manteinance, I have the feeling that all days are manteinance days, and 4 to 6 hours ones... So I would like to know if this is everyweek, to cancel my sub or not, Im paying to look at forums and internet and a little playing at evening...

The first one was a hotfix, the second one was the hotfix's hotfix. Today's just maintenance mondays

I remember last summer when they had maintenance on top of maintenance, and horrible performance to boot. I almost canceled my subscription over it. I expected them to do the usual activities during the extra maintenance on Thursday and Friday, but no, they're still doing the usual Monday maintenance as well. If it keeps going I will think about subscription renewal again.

I like to take this downtime to look for another MMO to invest my time and money into. Sadly none so far compare to ESO's combat (when it works properly), so I guess I'm stuck.

They probably need to fix the fact that two different Pelinal's Boon Boxes are dropping, and the one that tends to drop more frequently for people actually PVPing isn't dropping the new items for this year.

I started playing ESO when CIG pushed some pretty bad patches out on Star Citizen and for a period it just wasn't playable (it's in open Alpha still). Usually, they push upgrades every quarter, and have to patch once or twice in between, but never weekly or more like you see in this game. I play at all kinds of hours anywhere from noon to 6 am central, depending on when I am awake but this week, it hasn't been getting tired that gets me off (this game). It's the maintenance.

It is my observation though that hot fixes are only really pushed when something new is pushed that comes with an unforeseen exploit allowing players who know about it to use it unfairly against other players so I'm actually kind of happy that they get right on it real quick and don't have to take several weeks to test each patch like CIG does. Even right now, the next quarterly path for Star Citizen is only just now getting ready for testing. I won't see it for another couple weeks.

For some reason it doesn't seem to register, to certain people in the US, that we in EU/Australia would love to play the game we paid for and keep paying for even in our summer vacation... These maintanence.. Too much man. 3 times during event? And yet I still get a nasty bug on me in PvP where I get a permanent debuff on me from other players even after I have left combat...

You'd think that wouldn't be in the game, yes?

I think the game server needs an upgrade...

I am affected by all this down time as well. But.. Back when mmo's were fairly new, ehehe, this down time is nothing, and the rage was pages long, were talking 30, 40, 50 pages long. Try to be patient, trust me when I say it could be much worse..

And yes, believe it or not those mmo's are still around and doing well.
