Group Dungeon question ...

I was part of a "Banished Cells" group and the group disintegrated part way through. (Something about everyone being melee dps). Will I need to abandon the quest to get involved in a another group? Thanks

I haven't had a chance rerun the dungeon since last nights failure. With LFG you are kind of limited and we got 4 dps's. I sure didn't know what I was doing and its unclear if anyone else did either.0 -
ps3preeb18_ESOSoul ShrivenWith the getting 4 dps thing for LFG - hinting at the randomness, it's not strictly true as you can specify the roles you want as the "creator" of the group. It's not immediately obvious when you start a search for a dungeon group, but click around a bit and you can specify the roles to search for. For example, I was able to specifiy 2 dps, 1 healer and 1 tank when searching.1

Keiffo✭✭✭You keep your progress in the quest for as long as you want.
A healer is a must have. The game also just doesn't seem to favour melee DPS compared to ranged DPS, they are way safer and deal the same damage AFAIK.Edited by Keiffo on April 26, 2014 6:14AM1 -

✭if you leave a group dung unfinished you keep the quest, but have to redo the whole dung, since it resets with new group members, so no you dont actually keep your progress in the quest, since the quest line reset upon entering the dung again with other another team0
