Good job with the Cropsford Weekly.

I see no issues with highlighting a single town in a PVP zone whatsoever. I am very sure PVP'ers will not be camping the town waiting for people to come and do the quest. As it is one town, they don't even really need to run around to find them. Good call, they do have such a big zone to run around, and this makes things so much easier.

Actually I did them all this morning in Gray Host PS4 EU. The town was yellow, at the time I was there there were 3 yellows and 2 reds doing the quests. We all ignored each other and just got the quests done, letting the reds kill the guards when required so they could turn in their quests. All the serious pvpers were elsewhere on the map doing proper PvP.
And the map in Blackreach was 100% blue so it would likely have been easy to get them done in there too if I'd been on my blue character.
I was kind of surprised given that one of the dailies was kill a player in Cyrodiil, but there you go.

Pvpers have better thing to do, wating half an hour just to kill some stray PVers doing quest is just too lame.
We have Keeps to conquer and zergs to wipe.

Just don't try to take the city, Cropsford is in a strategic position.

I think the siege weekly is faster. I used 3 sieges at a time and it took 15-20 minutes, inluding the riding around the map. If you are worried about enemies, don't flag, just move to another structure and keep sieging. The more remote the better so as not to be detected.

There weren't this morning. And quite often there aren't during midyear mayhem, you even see little informal non-aggression pacts arise where players of all colours ignore each other and just do the quests. Of course camping pve questers happens sometimes, but it's not as big a problem as some people like to make out.

My bad, I mean during the peak hours.. you can always get away with more stuff early in the day..

Towns are always full of nightblades during event, and this is basically the same as event.

I mean, there are even people camping skyshards, so....

Encountered a few AD while doing the dailies on my Pact main. PC/NA the main faction locked campaign.

Most AD in town just cleared the guards off the flag to get access to the quest giver in the building and were ignored for the most part.

Those that attacked first or tried to flip the flag got killed.

Passed an AD player in the delve quest daily 3 or so other pact players in addition to me, let the AD player pass by neither side attacked beyond a bit of AOE damage while clearing out the mobs they brought are way as they were heading for the exit.

already told few of my pvp friends about this, some of them really like to defend their pvp land from pve players when they have chance xD

Damn, I hadn't even thought about that as PvPler, but thanks for the heads up, now I know what town to guard in this week.

Seriously... there won't be any decent PvP Players guarding it, we have better things to do than killing people that won't even bring AP after the first 3 kills anymore, as long as they don't start to turn flags, if they do that they agreed to die. It will mainly be NBs who were to bad for the actual PvP, so basically PvE players that will kill PvE players.

You can only do 1 of the weekly endeavors

And as always they put a PvE alternative, just kill 30 bosses? I don't see an issue here

It's always the same with events / weekly / daily things. If you don't want to do them just don't do them. If you want to do them then accept the conditions of them.

    I have to contradict myself.
EU Ravenwatch is in banana hands and they are camping the place to murder people going there.

I think this is their way of dealing with the fact that despite nightcapping and exploiting of the low pop bonus they are still losing all campaigns.

The thing with the sorts of pvpers who camp quest locations is, they're typically BAD at PvP. They're squishy, and die with even a tiny bit of pressure.

I ended up doing the Cropsford dailies to see how bad it would be. Took me maybe 15 minutes to do 8 quests. There were a couple of AD guys there (I'm EP) and a couple of EP players and we pretty much just ignored the enemies and did our thing.

That said, if these weeklies had popped on the weekend, I would have picked the siege damage one.

This is where it helps to have alts from all factions. Find what faction currently has Cropsford, and do the weekly with the alt that is that faction. It doesn't guarantee you won't run into any problems, but you will have a better chance. Safety in numbers sort of thing. Also, try one of the less populated campaigns. I was thrilled they gave 2 PvP options and focused on a single town for one of them. It took all of about 30 minutes to do. I hated the thought of trying to kill 30 world bosses... ugh.

I already was on a char that was on the faction that had Cropsford, I'm not just a potato at PVP, I'm a mashed potato lol, I just couldn't survive a few bananas at the quest points. I did the siege one instead
