Mesmerize. What is “subdue” even do? I’ve use this skill a few different ways and it seems to have no effect on anything.
The morf is “Hypnosis” does the same effect but to everyone around you but seems to do nothing if you sneak up behind them.
There is no definition in game what “Subdue” even does. Did I miss something? Anyone

It should stun in either morph, but It Is hard to make it work since the target should face You and, in the case of Subdue morph, the target should stay in a specific conal area in front of You, so it's really really hard top stun anyone with that morph.

I use It on my magblade in PvP as an opener, sometime I have to cast It again to make it work, there are way Better choices then that skill but I still use It and once You get used to It Is more viable, still not confortable or a well rounded skill, but usable in some situations (like in my case where I Need an opener since I don't Need a stun to kill people but a stun to start my playstyle).

PS: the skill isn't bugged, Is Just hard to land

Well the morph doesn’t work at all. It doesn’t stun anyone around you, and it says done only in front of you

Compared to Stupefy, Hypnosis loses it's range. It goes from 10 meters down to 7 meters, reduces the cost by a little, and makes the stun effect 360 degrees around you. With both morphs however, your foes must be facing you and that "facing you" check is a 90 degree cone in front of them. (45 degrees to the left and right from where they're looking)

Mesmerize and it's morphs are good AoE stuns when you're the target of a lot of NPCs in PVE, but in PVP it requires VERY good positioning to actually get it to work well. It's not a good offensive ability as it'll only stun people actively fighting you, and anyone who turns and runs is now unstunnable. I personally go with Stupefy since it's 10 seconds of crowd control over 5, and I have no real need to stun people behind me.

Oh, and the subdue part just means stun, but you can use it on merchants that won't talk to you to force them to. Whether you're a stage 4 vampire or have a high bounty, Mesmerize and it's morphs will let you charm your way into the buying and selling screen.

Try to three or four times it doesn’t stun NPC‘s all the way around. Or I can just be Cyrodiil suck

Isn't subdue a term used to say that you can force NPCs to talk to you which didn't wanted to before because you're a vampire?
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

Yeah, I said that. To connect the stun the following must be true:

    * Target must be in the area of effect of Mesmerize.
    * You must be standing in the 90 degree cone in front of your target.

If neither is true the stun will not connect. Targets not facing you will not be stunned even if they're in the Mesmerize effect, and vice versa with targets facing you but not in the ability's area of effect.

Edit: And Cyrodiil has horrible server positional desyncs. You might think they're facing you but the server says they aren't.
