Heavy attack not working. Worst it has ever been

Is heavy attack so badly bugged now that you are literally kissing something like an ogre and you have your HA keybinds pressed and held. And yet your character refuses to attack.

Is it me or is it the game is that bad you can't effectively use HA?

I’ve noticed the same thing. You have to switch bars in order for the heavy attack to go off. It’s been that way for me two months ago…another bug or stealth nerf instigated by the devs. The damage is also low…might as well use your fists..lol

Is this on PC? All platforms?
I haven’t experienced this because the only time I use heavy attacks is to build back up my magicka or stamina; i don’t use heavy attacks for dps. So it’s actually incredibly rare that I use heavy attacks.
But if this is a bug for everyone, it definitely needs looking in to. It can be a huge part of combat for lots of players.

I'm coming from Pc Na.

It's as if line of sight on my end is probably completely different to what the line of sight in the server is. So what I am seeing is actually not there. Kinda frustrating when you have to constantly release to then reapply for a hopeful HA

Having the same issue on PS5 using lightning or resto staff, sometimes heavy attack just acts like you don't have LOS on someone even if they're right in front of you; so you can't start the channel or it will cut off after 1 or 2 ticks even though the person is still in range and you have LOS on them.

Happening for PC. Also, a delay with skills. Combined with heavy attacks not working, this one is letting poor Mirri do all the work

Yeah, same here. I had to stop playing my stam sorc because heavy attacks, and even light attacks would sometimes lock up. I had to stand still for a few seconds before I could get it to work, which is obviously not going to fly in pvp.

Trying a heavy attack on dual wield bar often doesn’t connect and my character just swings in empty air.

I seem to have trouble with cursor targeting the enemy even if right on top of it, you know how it scrunches together when you’re right on top of something? Well it will open back up again and the skills gray out for some unknown reason during the fight.

Also, some bosses, like the Dwarven world boss in Markarth, can have their hitbox, which seems to be only the thorax, covered up by the wings and not targetable.
