Playing as necromancer make me feel like i am playing in early alpha stage of game or something, i barely see my staff during combat. Can they at least make option to carry staff on my back during fight when i am casting everything from hands anyway?

Most people advocate canceling the weapon animation with weaving anyway. And they've designed animations for skills so kind of a waste not to have them. And even more awkward now that we have dual daggers and dual swords casting spells.

Yes this bug is very annoying but also a new one: sometimes when the enemies die, they somehow disappear into the ceiling and no way to loot. Seems to happen only when companions are there.

I wish my weapon vanished when I performed my blood magic Eviscerate spell from the Vampire skill line. So much for a claw strike instead slapping someone with a staff.

Funny, I wish we didn't need a weapon to cast spells of any kind, but here we are, only allowed to use destruction and restoration magic with a stick in hand when that has never been the case in any other Elder Scrolls game.

Nah, we can fight with destruction and healing spells in ESO with just our bare hands. Just not the weapon skill line specific ones which I always head cannoned as being specially focused spells with the staff being used like a lens.

But that's not really how staves have worked within the universe up until ESO. Staves are enchanted to take some load off of their user and conserve magicka. You can cast Chain Lightning with your hands and expend your own magicka (and limit your use of further spells for a time) or use a staff enchanted to cast Chain Lightning for you and conserve your magicka at the cost of needing to recharge it every now and then.
I am all for being able to enchant more weapons with the ability to cast spells, like in Oblivion and Morrowind where your sword could cast a spell and your ring could cast another etc. But I don't think it has ever been a magic focus you channel your magic through.
And why would that bar you from casting the weapon line specific spells anyway? Steadfast Ward was a skill you could cast with your hands in Skyrim. I get why Elemental Weapon and Crystal Weapon cannot be used without a weapon equipped but none of the destruction or restoration staff specific spells seem to have this same dependency.

Yes, that seems to be how ESO handles it, but I have always just seen that as a disconnect between gameplay and what's actually going on - one of the instances where gameplay trumps accuracy for the sake of making the game more fun to play.

And that's why I think it would be more consistent if we could cast spells with just our hands, even the ones from the staff skill lines - essentially making them World skills. We could still use staves for LA weaving, set boni and the passives attached to them (to represent the load that's being taken off your back by using one), but I just don't like magic being restricted like this. This system would work within ESO's systems and would arguably be more fun than what we have right now due to being less restrictive and more "play the way you want".
