Are children in TES universe able to use magic spells or power abilities or transformations? Is there any lore information about it?
I'm trying to reasoning logically and my guess is they can not use any of it fully until adolescence when their physical and mental characteristics complete their formation...

✭✭✭✭✭I imagine like all living thing in TES a child has the potential to use magic, but it's something they'll have to bump in to so to speak. ✭Yes. Or at the least, they are able to begin learning how to use it. Keep in mind that in the TES universe, Magicka is Aetherial energy that pours in through the holes in the sky that are the stars. Anyone has the potential to learn to tap into and use that energy; it isn’t a matter of being or not being able to use it. There’s nothing to say that someone couldn’t start their training at a young age. I’d even imagine schools in the scholarly-oriented Breton societies of High Rock introduce some fundamentals as part of their curriculum. Furthermore, two children can be met in TES V who are beginning their training in magic: Agni in Morthal and Sissel in Rorikstead.3 -

I suppose you may be right about schools and stuff. What makes me question about the details are
socially unequal conditions: kids are often cruel to each other, and while the bulling is a normal thing among them, I wonder how much it may get worse when someone is able to use even simple destruction spells and another has neither magic nor fighting skills?0 -

I am going to stick with my Daedric creature theory. I mean, is there anyone who doesn't think that Braith in Whiterun is anything but a small Daedra? The cribs are offerings to some Daedric Prince, who seems to be disinclined to produce any Daedric Children right now.

She says: "Do you like magic? Falion says I'm good at learning. I like learning about magic." In other conversations, Fallon and she discuss how learning to focus and concentrate is necessary when dealing with magical forces.

Likewise, Sissel from Rorikstead is also learning magic from Jouane. He avoids teaching her fire magic, but suggests she learn a waterbreathing spell. Again, he emphasizes the importance of concentration.
