So I just came back to the game because the PS5 upgrade drops soon.

I don't know what the hell happened to champion points and I don't know which one of my characters I should focus on to be most effective in PVP.

I have a vampire magblade, a mag DK, Stam Necro, and a Stamblade and a magsorc thats a crafter.

Which one of these should I turn into a cyrodiil solo PVPer.

Magdk would be the ultimate 1v1 build. Thing is, the damage now is over the top so you would insta die if outnumbered.
I have seen a lot of magblade bombers. Also there are nice changes to proc sets they scale to your highest offensive stat. Defensive ones scale to your max health and so on.
If I were you I would go stam necro or a brawler blade with dark cloak. Stam necro is the bulkiest of them all only thing I would suggest is running race against time (or elude with momentum) since stamcros are quite slow.
Nightblade would also definitely work because crit resists are at record lows right now and 12k incaps and 14k spectral bows are a normal thing now.

My Stam Necro is quite fast, she uses medium armour and a bow. I really dislike heavy armour.

Running pure medium armor on a solo StamCro will be a bit tough this patch. I can only get away with it on my SNB because of cloak.
Since we don't need five pieces for passives anymore I tried taking in my Stamcro (which admittedly I'm still learning to play) with 3 heavy, 4 medium with one piece Mighty Chudan so both resists equal 22.5k front bar and 25.8K back bar when buffed plus 2468 crit resist and the AOE damage reduction star slotted in the blue tree and still got destroyed very quickly in almost every fight.

A Vampire MagDK with the proper amount of self healing is definitely a monster in a 1v1 battle. Well, until you fight someone with a liberal use of debuff purging abilities found mostly on Templars, Wardens, and Necromancers... It's not the class that shines in large group engagements due to the active use of purges. One ability we DKs have that helps though is the Shifting Standard with it's synergy and healing reduction aura.

Magsorc as ever is just as good of a long range killing machine as it was in the past. It's mobility helps it to get in and get out fast as long as your foes are not built for speed or are sorcs to. Many different ways to configure it, but do try and stay away from melee range fighters with physical weapons as the new debuff for wearing light armor means they'll do bonus damage against you for each piece of light armor you wear.

Your vampire magblade might actually work very well now after the Blackwood patch because!!!!! *Insert Drumroll* direct damage magic attacks can now perform sneak attack damage! That's right, Concealed Weapon can now perform sneak attacks, and with it's passive speed boost while invisible or sneaking you will be able to just zoom and be a terror on the battlefield. Vampire's Strike From the Shadows passive will serve you well here, and if you like Blood for Blood and Arterial Burst are good contenders for Concealed Weapon to due to their cost reduction for being a vampire.

I think I'm going to go with the sneaky vamp magblade, she was designed to be a vampire.
My MagDK is too beautiful of a Breton to ruin her looks with vampirism.

Magblade bombers are strong. I've been hit with 10K Proxy Det + 10K Soul Tether simultaneously, though can't rememeber on which of my chars. Proxy Det seems strong even against single players. Myself, however, I play a Caluurion magblade, but don't particularly recommend it, if you're looking for a strong character. At least not, if you want your character to be versatile and able to brawl a bit.

Stamblades, as ever, tend to have stronger damage than magblades. I have hit unsuspecting and probably badly-built noobs with Incap for 18K in CP on a build with only 5K weapon damage, 8k pen and 31K stam (plus Balorgh, though). Those are by no means crazy high stats. My woodelf was wearing Acuity front bar, Darloc Brae back bar, Shadow Mundus. It's a class I don't play well. I am told by better players that stamblades don't do so well against competent opponents (I certainly don't). That said, if you want to play something disgusting, you could try Caluurion + Doylemish on a stamblade. I have been insta-killed on my 32K health / 28K resistances stamsorc by heavy attack -> Ultimate -> Whirlwind combos with those sets (and presumably vamp + Balorgh). However, if you want a nightblade that can move and brawl a bit, you won't get the procs up that high.

Mag DKs are strong in duels, I think. Build for pen. Solo open world? Probably not.

StamCro is still strong, I think. A friend plays it when he plays in small groups. Solo he plays stamblade or stamsorc.

Damage is very high. As a StamCro or Mag DK one of your sets will want to be Pariah or something else like that. Not necessarily heavy armor, though.

Magsorc should still be viable solo, as always, though not something I can advise on. Stamsorc gankers are apparently a thing, e.g. Crystal Weapon, Crushing Weapon, Overload. My friend says he got up to 10K weapon damage plus Acuity, albeit no pen to speak of, and this slays.
