There is one thing that's keeping me from playing IC

    If you own the district where you solo a boss, you get a lot of tel var.

    Buff is not per district, it's per whole city map. +33%*6 = +200%. Meaning 3ppl group killing boss with no control and 9ppl group killing boss with full control is the same amount of telvar. So making uber small party is not beneficial, it is your greed speaking.

    Besides, it's not only about how much you get, but about how fast you can do that. If you need to cyro->back after each boss == less telvars/hour. If you can't get all the bosses in the circle run == less telvars/hour.

    Smh but I agree with your numbers. Owning all the districts and running a small group will of course yield great results, but you know what will yield even better results? Owning all the districts and running solo. That's the point. That will always be a factor. You can zerg all you like, but it won't stop people from hiding bosses and ruining your farm. It's pointless and toxic to try and enforce this. In the end you'll always make more tel var running solo with a low pop in zone.
    We've all seen zergs run IC, they run around empty districts for an hour, have a boring time and leave. Because at that point its just pve and no fun for anyone.
    I say again, keep this mentality out of IC. It's toxic and greedy and ruins it for everyone. And you'll make less tel var anyway.

    In the end you'll always make more tel var running solo with a low pop in zone.

    Just soloed a boss in a hidden room, no city control. Yielded me 2.5k. Feels like wasted time compared to 7-person circle runs where you get ~1.6k per boss but kill it 10 times faster.

    No. Zerging IC doesn't make sense. Every additional member you intentionally bring means less Telvar for you.

    Zerging is indeed bad, but IC is the perfect place for small group fights. It's like a never ending Deathmatch BG when all factions have the right amount of numbers together, and that's a beautiful thing.
