I realize companion destruction staff skills behave differently depending on which type of staff is equipped. Are there other differences such as do their destruction staves or basic attacks have a chance for applying elemental effects.
Since they disappear when entering a home it is not easy to test but a fire staff should perform better if the elemental effects are applied.

✭✭✭✭✭I prefer the Lightning Staff, mobs getting knocked back with Fire Staff can be annoying if I'm about to land a heavy blow or execute and they go flying. Sucks on smaller world bosses that actually do get knocked around too. Bastian lacks AOE abilities in his basic arsenal so stacking all 3 Destro Staff abilities with his Grasp help cover that problem, Haste as a 5th to have him cycle back around for a second wave.3 -

✭✭✭✭✭I agree the knockback is annoying. I removed that skill quickly. I guess there is no real difference in the damage nor do they apply status effects that would affect damage.0
