I got an opening cinematic recently when starting up the game and it was stuttering and I guess really low fps. I don't know what was wrong, but it was extremely bad.
What has happened recently to make it like that? When I first got the game years ago I don't remember any cinematic being that bad.
update: I chose the replay cinematic in character select screen and the movie plays fine. It's the same movie too. The only changes I've made between the issue and the resolution was I deleted my usersettings file (located in "Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live") and then in-game I set my video settings to what they were as I remembered them, and last I made sure my computer's power setting is at high performance, as it was at balanced. Could any of that be the cause?
edit: It's not power plan setting as I set that back to balanced and the video still plays fine now. Is it possible that the game plays the video differently from the replay option on character select than when it forces the video play after usersettings are deleted? What could be causing that stutter!
