I remembered that I have flanking bonuses and the Dark Souls backstabber in me went AHA! Started attacking. Realized they were holding block. They didn't even turn to look at me. This realistic block will only protect you from an direct attack with an cutting weapon unless you block with an shield, then it protect against trust, arrows and probably direct magic attacks, it will not protect against AoE DoT like wall of elements.Moonsorrow wrote: »

An large shield should give some protect against explosions if facing it.
