After "The Gates of Adamant" I went to Blackwood, found all 12 way shrines and helped Mirri Elendis and Bastian Hallix. After doing some writs in Leyawiin and finding no one to deliver them to I went to Vulkhel Guard to give them to Inngyrr. Then I went to meet my "benefactor".

Since Bastian Hallix was with me when I got kidnapped by Mannimarco he following me to the Wailing Prison ! We are now both Soulless !

That should not happen - your companion should stay behind like your mount and be available only after the starter island story is finished.

What do you think ?
During the afternoon of Loredas, 6 Sun’s Dawn 2e578 a big piece of Aetherius fell to Nirn. It was the first major piece of Aetherius to fall on Nirn in more than five hundred years. It scattered around the world as millions of shards. It was rapidly documented by Lady Cinnabar of Taneth in her pamphlet Aetherial Fragments that "... when three shards meet, they re-form into a silvery prism by unknown process and confer the power unlocked by the merger to a nearby being." The Order of the Black Worm, commonly known as the Worm Cult, reappeared in Tamriel shortly thereafter and some of its members are avidly searching said shards.
In the last week of First Seed 2e579, an arcane explosion occurred in the Imperial City — a night of storms, and trembling terrain. They named it the "Soulburst". That day Emperor Varen Aquilarios disappeared without a trace. His wife, Clivia Tharn, ascended to the Ruby Throne as Empress Regent under the guidance of the Necromancer Mannimarco. Ushering a time of increased instability within the Empire of Cyrodiil which finally grew into “The Three Banners War”.

I think it is only logical that your companion is also soul-less.

Otherwise, how do you explain that they can use way-shrines with you?

    And your bankers and merchants.
Game mechanic and overlooked stuff, and it does not bother this one unless its very in your face like removing Argonian poison resistance in Elsweyr and having an quest with an Argonian who was able to handle poison better and helped her? Khajiit mates to safety but need an antidote to confront it.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

A lot of people aren't aware of this, but in reality there are no mounts or pets. They're basically just hallucinations.

Sorry to break it to you, but that awesome mount you think you're riding into town? Nah. You actually look like this...

Nuzimeh is real, but she's actually just one of like 8 or 9 identical sisters. It's true. I've seen them in the same area sometimes! Pretty cruel of her mother to name ALL of her kids exactly the same like that, but I guess it works out okay for business purposes. Near as I can figure, they all cover different zones most of the time, so whenever someone calls for a merchant they're always ready to jump out of a barrel or from behind that tree or whatever. While other merchants lazily wait at their shop for customers to come to them, Nuzimeh is out covering basically all of Tamriel on foot, waiting to snag a sale! It's honestly really impressive!

But Tythis? Nope, sorry. Not real. You're just standing there shuffling things from one bag to another identical bag for some strange reason. The idea that you're "banking" anything is all make believe, I'm afraid. :flushed:
