I've been turned into a daedrat, can I go home?

So I was turned into a Lustrated Daedrat.
I had just teleported to the Leyawiin Outskirts wayshrine from Auridon, opened the Crown Store and looked at a few of the crate items then exited the menu. Spoke to Brigadine Antonius and started heading towards the Battlegrounds camp. About halfway there I swapped weapon sets and my character model changed from my character to a Lustrated Daedrat with my bow laying underneath it.
I am able to access the menus and interact with NPCs and "sit" on nearby benches in the environment as a daedrat. But I am not able to interact with the wayshrine or attack anything. I am able to summon my mount and "ride" it from underneath as a rat.
I managed to turn myself back into a wood elf by previewing another pet in the Crown Store, but turned into a large version of the vulture gryphon pet model after attempting to swap weapon sets.
After swapping through a few more pets it finally seems that I managed to break out of whatever curse I was under and was able to successfully swap weapons without being Wabbajacked. No ill effects noticed since.
I checked the forums but didn't see anything like this. Has anyone else run into this bug?

This is a bug that occasionally returns - but actually this one quite enjoyed it for the time she could shapeshift into a small alfiq.

✭This is hilarious. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. The only funny character model issue I've had was a brief stint of being very very tall shortly after Elsweyr's release when some necromancer folks were retaining their increased size after coming out of the bone goliath ult. I wish I could become a Lustrated Daedrat...or an Alfiq, or perhaps a camel? I'm not particular.PC NA, CP2500+. Character creation is the true endgame.0 -

✭It's occassionaly returning.
Equip Polymorph, preview crate items, preview any weapon skin, any preview pet within the crate menu, leave menu, swap weapon. Equipping a polymorph that has custom animations or equipping a personality results in t-posing monstrousity instead.1
