Tutorial quest the gates of adamant: equip a weapon

After I chose a weapon, it does not show up in my inventory to equip it. The weapons do not disappear from the tables. I was able to switch to another toon, make a sword and board, bank it and then equip it that way.
*equipping your own weapons does not trigger the quest. Quest can not be abandoned.

RiverBrian✭✭✭I deleted my new toon and made another one and tried the tutorial again. Same thing. It doesn't recognize that you are picking up weapons. Theres nothing in my inventory to equip.0

✭Hmm, I've done the tutorial a few times and haven't had an issue.
By any chance do you have the addon Dustman or something similar? When I pick up white weapons with no trait they automatically get sorted into my junk tab and therefore don't show up in my inventory. If the gear isn't disappearing off the tables either though that seems like a different problem.PC NA, CP2200+. Character creation is the true endgame.0 -

✭If you have Dustman I'm 98% sure that's your problem right there. It's sucking your starter gear straight into your junk tab. Fingers crossed that's it!PC NA, CP2200+. Character creation is the true endgame.0 -
RiverBrian✭✭✭It was dustman. I shut it off, picked the sword and board and it went into the inventory. Thank you for info and hopefully this helps others0
