I may have missed it but i haven't seen a post on the hardware issue. Any info on it and an ETA?

    Word on twitch stream is 12PM EDT, but I haven't seen anything official, either.

    the reason is because a gold dupe bug got exposed

    I was almost at the end of character creation when I got booted...gonna have to remake that guy all over again I guess. Sigh.
    PC NA, CP2500+. Character creation is the true endgame.

    That doesn't sound like a "hardware issue" to me.

    It went down around 8:25 my time, when servers were shut down and it’s 8:57 now so

    It wouldn't be a proper launch without emergency downtime

    Might have spent too many credits

    I knew I shouldn't have bought that extra chicken.

    Well that's odd... considering the banners went up quite some time ago. I'm going based on the when the forum banner went up, so perhaps they posted the notice prior to bringing the servers down.

    Yea the banners did go up quite some time ago, but they didn’t shut it down immediately. Spent 11hrs farming this kilt lead, now off to bed. 😂

    ZOS can you please provide an eta on this maintenance. I'd rather see the hardware is broken, so PC NA will not be available for the rest of today, than nothing.........

    Well hopefully they have the ability to find out WHO used the glitch and bans them from the game.

    being as it either was a bug exposed or not... last night had some pretty terrible loading screen times.. and mail was being rejected/not sending.. im sure there servers needed something. Every launch has something ahha. But seriously, this is the smoothest yet.

    If it were related to an exploit, then I would have assumed that it would also require taking down the EU megaserver as well. From what I can see, it seems to be a combination of hardware and potential software fixes that need to be implemented that are specific to NA, or that NA is getting the maintenance now and EU will get it later?

    Edit: Maintenance seems to have been completed for PC/Mac NA Megaserver.
