So I’ve been farming this delve all weekends and have not gotten the lead that drops here from trash mobs.
It is in here right? Does it normally take this long for one lead?

I have farmed it twice.
First time it took 2 hours and my second time it took 4 days.

I was seriously considering necroing it with the release of Greymoor as DLC as there will be a new wave of people farming it now.
My tips to you and anyone else reading: Group with people to loot share. Slow dps (basically light attack and maybe 1 skill) so you can share mobs with people not in your group. Leave instance for 10-15 minutes if it gets too crowded with people who refuse to group up. That should put you in a fresh instance that will gradually fill up as you continue farming.
That's just a few tips and could be useful for farming the new Blackwood leads as well, in addition to the Dead Man's Hallow specifics in that thread I linked.PC NA3 -
Nagastani✭✭✭✭This lead is notoriously difficult to find here. There are reasons for this, namely the fact that -lots- of players are all looking for it at same time as well as some mobs drop it and others will not as there are other leads here as well.
It took me about 2 days of farming on and off, couple hours at a time before I finally found it. And one thing that helped was logging during the late evening hours because fewer people means more mobs as well as statistically speaking a much higher chance of getting the lead per mob.
During Prime Time with lots of folks looking for it you stand no real chance of finding it, especially with everyone telling you to group up for it that means people outside of a group will be at extreme disadvantage of finding the lead on their own. However during my time there we had no groups running and neither was I in one. Just lots and lots of people looking for the same thing, running around that place wildly looking for a single mob to kill.Edited by Nagastani on June 1, 2021 2:04PM0 -

It can take a bit.
I've farmed for the ring twice. The other leads dropped fast both times for me and seem to come faster the more pieces I had, until the one in DMH >.<
First time it took a day or two and only actively grinding for it for a couple hours total, I got lucky it seems.
The second time took me several days and I'd grind through there a couple hours a day between 2 characters.

✭✭About an hour for me. Knew it would be a pain so I did it around ram eastern when my server was dead and I had the place to myself.
An hour was nothing so I can't complain but they couldn't have picked a worse public dungeon to tie a lead to farming trash mobs. Every other public dungeon has twice as many to kill.0 -
six2fall✭✭✭✭Been farming there for 4 days now so probably about 10-12 hours worth of farming. Havent had too many other players at most there were 3 or 4 others. Most players refused to group so it is pretty annoying. Zos definitely should up the drop rate given how bad it is & how few enemies are even available0 -

The actual lead took a solid couple of hours with quite a few running around farming - not fun but with the sticker book, it’s one and done.

Yeah, it's a total pain. I have completed this ring three times. The first time took about 2 hours, the second time about 1 hour, the last time about 5 minutes. I think it is best to farm Dead Man's Hollow early morning U.S. east coast time. FYI: Even the skeevers and the beetles can drop the gold lead, so kill them too.0 -

✭✭I've only spent 2-3 hours on this so far, no lead yet. Given the recent changes to the set and that I'm already pretty close to a no death on vVH (first clear was may 24,may 3 1 was 14/15 in under an hour) I'm putting this on hold so I can get frustrated with leads for the kilt instead.0 -
Delimber✭✭✭✭For both it only took me about an hour for each. IDK (I don't know) if it matters if it is the first or last item you are farming for the ring.
But I was farming it with a magplar spamming jabs lol.Solo PvP and PvE most of the time.
