Best healer set at the moment

dragonflame
I'm currently running spell cure, blades and hollowfang on almost all my healers. Whenever I'm able to do trails. Currently 430 cp. I'm getting Vestments of Olorime. I saw that alot of healers now use Jorvuld’s Guidance for the extra up time. I think this would be a great addition for my wadern healer. Should I keep what I have or should I use Jorvuld’s Guidance with spell cure and blades until I obtain some trail sets. Can my current set do normal trails, because all my gear are purple. Thank you!

😝 first I love you misspell trial the same way I used to. I feel a connection.

Roaring opportunist is unfortunately the trend with jorvulds. Might change next week with spell damage being 6k on dps sets. 🤞

Hollowfang is taking heavy hit this upcoming patch too next week so idk. There few other sustain options so user choice there

This patch healers in spc+hollow+symphony in dungeons and one healer in trials. The other one in trials wear roaring+jorvulds+whatever.

Next patch hollow might be replaced as it gets nerfed.

Gold out the staff rest can be purple, and you can do vet trials as well.

Thanks everyone for the gear help. I found out that the gold material can be refined from wood.

    Yes.

You can level woodworking by decontstructing wood weapons and shields. There are a couple of passives there that are good to have even if you don't want to craft gear yourself.

    - The one that gives you a higher chance of improvers when refining
    - The one that allows you to use fewer (only 8) gold materials when improving a weapon/shield

Even if you never craft a single item, those are great to have. So just decon all the wood stuff you find by playing (other than ornate) and you'll be level 50 in no time.

What are the principal reasons for using Jorvuld's?
    • Warhorn? I'm guessing yes.
    • Major Slayer? I'm guessing yes, and that in fact that Jorvuld's used mainly in Major Slayer builds.
    • Reducing the frequency with which you cast Combat Prayer? I'm guessing this is more of a nice-to-have.
    • Major Courage uptime? I'm guessing this is viewed as unimportant in practice.
    • Anything else?

I heard it was good with spell cure that the main reason I wanted lol. That and for my wadern.

Why? Isn't your uptime on Spell Power Cure good enough without it? And isn't your uptime on Toughness great without it too?

I'm kinda don't know how to gold an item out. Also thanks. I thought you have to be high cp to do trails like in the 700 to the 1000

While we're at it, what's the norm for enchants? I've been running infused Weakening for a while for dungeon PUGs, and leaving Crushing to the tanks.

I don't know how to gold out an items since my mail is non existent

You need rosin (gold crafting mat for woodworking) and at a woodworking station you can improve the staff quality. The character better have a decent woodworking skill to reduce the gold mat cost though, by default it's 20, with maxed passive skill it's only 8 mat.

I can fine these out in the wild instead of buying them? Correct?

Kyne's would easy switch. There's a new set coming called stone talker that will be fun and practical. If not dlc then worm

    Edit so another thought is

Heartland Conquer could use it instead of torugs or stack it onto torugs when tank has it for penetration debuff.

    Weakening or crushing generally

Berserker for very few heal checks in game

Frost of you are minor brittle buff ****.

Shock is still nice for sustain with off balance

What are the principal reasons for using Jorvuld's?
    • Warhorn? I'm guessing yes.
    • Major Slayer? I'm guessing yes, and that in fact that Jorvuld's used mainly in Major Slayer builds.
    • Reducing the frequency with which you cast Combat Prayer? I'm guessing this is more of a nice-to-have.
    • Major Courage uptime? I'm guessing this is viewed as unimportant in practice.
    • Anything else?

Spc is just easier but they are about equal in performance so pick either

I've used it before in conjunction with Wisdom of Vanus for Major Mending. It was good for pure healing.

You pretty much nailed it. That and the Damage Shield duration boost, for the few builds that lean heavily on those.

There's a few other niche applications for it, but you hit the essence of it as far as I know.
