what nodes should i farm?

Darkspecialist
as in blacksmithing heavy gear and metal type weapons for ore nodes

woodcraft for staves so wood nodes

cloth nodes for light gear

the tooltip says fiberous plants for cloth gear..how do i know whats fiberous and whats an herb when farming that?

what node for medium gear?
  • Darkspecialist
i been using that addon harvestmap..so it marks plants with a green marker i suppose for herbs and a cloth bluish grey color for cloth for clothing gear

Depends on your level and crafting level.

It sounds like you are new so you will probably see jute as your clothing material. You can see a list of others here:

i think i got it..for blacksmith, jewelry, staves and cloth gear would be ore, wood and cloth nodes in the game world for crafting and refining gear and gear upgrades. correct?

Yes. Jewelry metals use the same nodes as ore, so an ore node might respawn as jewelry metal the next time, or you might even get a little jewelry metal with ore. You will find them in the same places (rocky areas).

You have a chance of getting improvement material when you refine the base material (iron, jute, etc.)

Medium gear has no nodes; you get the raw mats from killing most animals, then refine the scraps to get medium armor mats. When you do a clothier survey, 4 of the nodes are plants for light armor raw mats, and 2 are traps containing medium armor raw mats.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!
