Remnants of the Deep Folk daily quest bugged

For this quest you need to gather 3 pieces of Dwarven scrap. One of the pieces is on the balcony of Bthardamz but today's patch has dropped it from the balcony and its now in a ledge below and out of range to pick up.

Thanks for sharing. I had to relog twice, the first time raised it up some, but still stuck in the wall, but the second time I went onto another character, then back on my main, and it was showing correctly then so I could complete the quest.

perfiction✭✭✭✭✭Same thing happened to me yesterday on PC EU. I got it fixed by teleporting to other zone, then comming back - the quest marker position showed correctly after that and I could pick up last scrap piece.Edited by perfiction on May 6, 2021 8:31PM0 -

Walking away from the area and back, as suggested by someone during an online search, fixed the issue, that really shouldn't exist seven months on.Maythor: honestly we're getting the supermarket treatment here ... shrinkflation with the addition of simply moving things about so they seem fresher .. all the while being told a corporation is our friend :P

Sambucca1973✭✭✭This has been an issue on PC/NA since Markarth dropped.
I’ve never had to log out to fix it. Just ride away for a few minutes or do the Harrowstorm daily, come back, and it will be collectible.
Another, more challenging, option: drop down to the ledge beneath that pile, walk below the pile, look up, and collect the gear. It may (probably will) show that it can be picked up at your feet, but that doesn’t work. Once you get the gist of jumping down to the ledge, it’s pretty quick.0 -
