End game players typically have the zones they do their dailies and writs in, use for their Pledges or Dueling, and then park their character in for the night. That leaves a lot of the rest of the game where we haven't returned to for months, if not years, but perhaps we still hold a nostalgic appreciation for them and set time aside here and there for a revisit, just to take in the sights again and relive some memories of yonder days.

For me, it's places like Hew's Bane, Summerset, even Grahtwood and Glenumbra. After completing all questing content, exploration achievements etc, nothing requires me to return to these places, but sometimes I'll see it on the map and decide to port over for a walk and get reminded of all the really pretty locations they have. Just yesterday I went to a few places throughout Summerset, walked around Alinor, Shimmerene, and then went into Sunhold Public Dungeon just to admire the architecture aesthetics. Summerset has some REALLY pretty cities.

I'm in nearly every zone of the game at least once a week. Antiquities.... and exploration on alts, and some side quests. I'm also on nearly every character at least once a week, sometimes more often than that.

[Caveat: I'm retired, this game is my hobby, and I can - and do - play as long as I want every day.]

I'm always in Stormhaven, Wayrest, It's my home.
Summerset is Basically My second Home.
Alik'r Desert and East March are my vacation homes.
I do like Gold Coast and Hew's Bane. I tend to travel to those places to search Guild Traders to find furnishings and materials.

I don't really like the Wilds, Swamps, Jungles, Volcanic, regions. I tend to enjoy the Forests, Desert, Snowy areas.

As of right now though, I tend to spend most of my time Cyrodiil.

Summerset. I keep thinking I should park my alts there instead of in Vivec City, but Alinor, though gorgeous is not *quite* as convenient for writs because of the location of the bank and the stables. OTOH, it does have an outfit station...

Oh, I have so many nostalgic zones. Crazy to think I've been playing this game long enough for that to be a thing.

Around Daggerfall for sure. I have vivid memories of first playing the game there. I'll never not love going to Stros M'kai.

Hew's Bane is another one. I particularly remember the delve and logging in there the day the first crates were released.

Orsinium, especially around the public dungeon overlooking the sea. I spent many an hour farming xp in there to get to the original cp cap.

Farming clothing materials in Crow's Wood one summer while watching Supernatural.

K I'm done, this is giving me an existential crisis.

Rivenspire. It's easily one of my favorite zones in the game, but there aren't exactly a lot of reasons to go back once you've completed all the quests.

    Another Rivenspire here.

I like to wander around last thing and grab any chests that may be there and loop around north coast, maybe taking some nodes, too, but usually not so much.

Coldharbour. I didn't like it at first, but I love it now. It's the only place that actually makes me feel like I make a difference -- the people I rescue take up residence in the city and I get to see it become more and more populated as the story progresses. Besides, it's got Irrki, my favorite NPC.

I'd have to say Coldharbour too, that is, the main quest. I think it's the best-done quest of any of the zones. I use it to level alt characters. I think I've been through it from start to end 15 times now - rescuing everybody on the map - and somehow it doesn't get old (except for that part where you have to walk around with the prophet while he shows you the history of the companions - that does get old :) I always look forward to that part where you're invulnerable and blasting through walls to get to Molag Bal at the end.

It depends on what character I'm playing. Each of my characters "lives" in a particular zone, so they spend most of their time in those zones... and they're all different.

Celestus is still new, he's in Auridon.
Foehnir is a melancholy wood elf, who feels he failed his people. So, he wanders the world, seeking redemption.
Nara-singha is a tribal Khajit from the southern jungles of Elsweyr.
Skjald of Rohan is from Rohan, but resides in Auridon.

Morgha Kul is the Telvanni Amabassador to Mournhold, and lives there, though he has a proper home at Ald Velothi.
Hogun Jornisson has been ostracised by everyone... so he wanders Western Skyrim.
Acouthaz is not actually Argonian, but DRACONIAN, so prefers the mountains of Western Skyrim and Wrothgar.
Stephen of Canada has several homes, but spent much of his time on Vvardenfell. He now lives in West Skyrim.

Oerick is a reclusive wizard, and lives in a hut in Glenumbra.
Mth'lar D'log Bog is the Chief of the Shatul Clan, and lives there, or in the Forgemaster's retreat of Wrothgar.
Hasan I Sabbah is an assassin, but has come to see the Brotherhood as murderers far too often. He now lives in Alik'r.
Gaius Marcellus Scipio was an Imperial officer, but was cast out when he became a vampire. He seeks redemption in Cyrodiil.

Laeth of Candlekeep is an Ashlander, and lives with the Urshilaku on Vvardenfell.

Now... which zones do I really like that I never get to see...? Clockwork City is magnificent, and I rarely go there... also, I do love the desert (I've never quite understood why), so playing in Alik'r and Bangkorai are always pleasant.
    Exploring Tamriel since 1994.

I love Rivenspire. I even bought the player home there but I like the area so much. I usually fish there... it isn't much else I can do there. I just really like the area.

    Wrothgar.

I think I have over 100 Wrothgar surveys piling up on my Wrothgar survey toon at this point, it's been so long since I've been there. I did go there to farm the Pale Order lead, thinking it'd take days. II got on the 2nd WB I did and haven't been back.

Auridon and Summerset, hands down. Helps me unwind and relax, while doing my dailies.

I also enjoy returning to Bleackrock or Eastmarch for the winter feel and the epic music.

I think Coldharbor is pretty in its own strange way, I also like the snowy regions of Cyrodiil and Wrothgar, especially at dusk when the stars are just starting to come out. I don't really spend a whole lot of time in any of these regions, though.

    Clockwork City

Great story, really good 'looks', but once the story is done, little reason (outside events) to visit

    Love Hew's Bane.

    Hate the flying bugs.

Wish there was more of a reason to go back there - the older pre chapter DLC zones seem to have been a little forgotten these days.

My main lives in Alinor, so am in Summerset quite a bit and I tend to shop in only a few zones rather than go to many.

Clockwork City blew me away when it first came out, but don't really go there at all now. I went there yesterday for an antiquity and I realised just how lovely and different it is, though outside an event (when you don't really stop and smell the flowers) there is little reason to go there.

I also forget how gorgeous The Rift is, but again, no real reason to go there. I think I like orangy/gold things (and definitely dislike swamps - done Shadowfen once and that's enough thank you.)

Ooooh, Artaeum... It is heaven like and whenever i need to relax i fast travel there just to run around, soaking in the scenery, maybe pick up a few nodes and do some fishing. The most peaceful and fetching place in the entire Nirn.
