This shows all megaservers up except for PC EU. What broke this time? I know it's maintenance day but everything else apparently has finished.

Well, since you asked, probably nothing. The servers are different. EU is larger and has a larger population. It is probably also going to get hardware upgrades/replacements before NA does. They can do this incrementally during maintenance like this.

It's to make up for the extended maintenance NA had last time. The compensation of the EU login problems wasn't enough apparently.

Well, since you asked, probably nothing. The servers are different. EU is larger and has a larger population. It is probably also going to get hardware upgrades/replacements before NA does. They can do this incrementally during maintenance like this.

Hoping for dedicated hardware upgrades/replacements before NA is so optimistic, that I cannot tell if it was sarcasm or not.

Nope. Very serious, and sorry if you are on NA and want the upgrades first. Like I said, EU is the bigger server; the hardware there is under more stress. It is where any reasonable guess will have them starting. Besides, last time, they started with EU and then did NA.

It's Monday. People in the EU would usually be at work, or working from home. When would you rather they did maintenance?

There's a lot of upset players in the UK today because it's a bank holiday, and naturally we wanted to spend the day playing, but I think some of us forget that the EU server comprises of more than just the UK.

I did want to spend the day playing, but at least this isn't happening on a Saturday afternoon.

That they extended isnt the problem, and never has been. Once again the sheer lack of communication towards the playerbase is the biggest issue. US is complete, ours is extended and nobody knows why. Its like bringing your car for repairs, it takes longer and they mechanic just goes "I dunno...".

I play on both NA and EU. Yesterday, I was getting repeated "unable to connect to server" on NA. This is probably due to server population and the fact that the NA server is smaller. The EU server seems to get upgrades and capacity expansions weeks before the NA server does. This is going to probably keep happening on NA until they catch the server up. EU seems to get priority in this area. I played on EU instead of NA, where there were no problems, even during EU prime time.

The EU server may be down longer, but that is just more indication that they pay more attention to EU than they do to NA. EU is the larger server, and it is probably still growing, so it can have longer maintenance.

The maintenance is schedule until Noon EDT. The probably ended the NA maintenance early so they could do the PTS update today.

Could they please stop with the maintenance. Nothing gets better only same or worse after. I've never been needing to do maintenance on Exchange servers or other servers weekly on the big companies I've worked at

Well, PTS is also offline according to that site-- and this week should be when PC EU gets copied over to the PTS, so maybe that has something to do with it? (shrug)

The advertised maintenance still has 2.5 hours to run. It has not been extended, NA just got lucky and was finished well ahead of schedule.

They are going for the full 8 hours and it wouldn't surprise me if it gets extended. It usually does where EU is concerned.

They switch them off on public holidays to reduce the cost. Happens too often for this not to be the reason.

The fix is to build an alt on PC na and use their server resources during EU downtime.

They shouldn't work with indications but with clear communication.

Especially on holidays for certain countries.

yeah, after lates maitenances I got 2 addons not working so I needed to stop using them as also reinstaling with deleting every their data didnt work - potion maker and inventory insigh - with not to mention I started to have "lost lobby connection" sometimes when I teleprt to anyone anywhere and it can be in moments just nonstopa nd still no a single maitenance since over month helped with that problem

even I needed to reinstal game because of how badly it get
