✭Pretty much all of Templar's skills are aoe, which is great. I pair magicka Templar with a lightning staff, and stamina Templar with a 2H weapon, which bolster the aoe aspects. The only single target skills they have really are the beam and the javelin, for all other skills there is an aoe morph available. ✭✭✭✭✭My healplar is an AoE build. Lightning staff on damage bar with shards, orbs, reflective light, sweeps. Literally, the only single target attack she has is light attacks.PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo1 -

I used to have a warrior Valkyrie maiden that ran Knight Errant and Automaton set back when Power Slam was a DPS ability. Was so fun bash weaving with Power Slam. Then ZoS had to take my fun away and turn it into a morph no one ever picks.1 -

✭✭✭✭For XP farming or even normal dungeon trashpacks, I've been throwing Elemental Ring as my "spammable". Sweeps is there if I need some health. A variety of AoE DoTs are on my bars too, but not all of them, because I also like to have:- Crushing Shock
- Jesus Beam
- Reflective Light
- HotD
- Channeled Focus

Iki✭✭✭Blazing spear, solar barrage, ritual of retribution, unstable wall, mystic orb, puncturing sweeps/force pulse and there you go, magplar with very nice aoe dps (and modest single target dps).
Fill remaining slots with jesus beam, structured entropy, rune and honor the dead and you got pretty cool and efficient allrounder magplar setup for pve. Ultimates of your choices. I use shooting star.0 -

✭Honestly? Just take your shards ability (for me, its the healer version that grants additional rss on synergy), unstable wall, jabs, and power of the light. That is how I set up my "damage" bar on my healer when I'm doing most content that doesn't require me to go healer heavy. With my bar set up like this, I can keep group healed and still churn out some pretty good DPS all in healer support gear.0 -
