Ability timers for skills coming with U30?

Another exciting change coming is the addition of ability timers to our action bars. Now you will be able to see the length of time left on a buff provided by one of your skills, without the need for addons if you’re on PC.
From the UESP preview of Blackwood. If this is true for console players it’s a VERY HUGE change and helps so much with the lacking UI.

Sounds awesome and is one of the few features from PC I’d love to have on console.

We didn’t have a debuff / buff UI on consoles until... Morrowind? Not sure about it.
We‘re missing a lot of convenience features, which are pretty unnecessary, but make the game a bit more comfortable. Ability timers is one of them - so if they are coming to console, it would be a huge relief, as you can time your skills way better. It took console over a year of complaining to get a basic text chat or ability to search specific items on guild trader......
Way we used to have to find a group is join area chat and yell over each other...... Try setting up a group with 50+ people yelling...... Sad part is a lot of pc players argued we didn't need it 😂😂😂😂
But as far as anything goes for add ons it would be nice for console to have it. (Also try finding 1 item on console spending 3+ hours searching every trader/ load screens, just to see it not available) pc players can find exact locations of items and just go...... Ice suggested that feature as well and most pc players say "no if you want that play pc" like it hurts them or something...... Lol. I've brought this up in numerous threads.
At the end of the day this is a game and any quality of life things they can do to make people with less time enjoy it more they should do along with more in depth metrics for those who play hardcore. Don't just think pc players are the best (console sides have really great players that perform without add ons.... Imagine if they had what pc players have) lol2 -

✭✭action duration reminder add-on improved my dps for a great deal, I hope the official implementation can be as good as that

Yah they really goofed the buff timers by making them center justified, causing each new or expiring buff/debuff to shift the icons around endlessly.
Let's hope they literally just copy the layout of Action Duration Reminder.1 -

Not even that stupid "bar swap" warning in Cloudrest does work. Most of the time your screen just turns blue. Maybe some more years and they might fix it?0 -
