Just out of a random thought I've had while now for pretty much any mmorpg out there....
Isn't it weird we see bots in any Mmorpg within 1-2 days of the games "laiunch"? I'm not one to argue or anything, or conspire against certain people, but has it ever once occurred to anyone that maybe "Bots" are being run by the companies themselves?
The more I think about it, the more, and more impossible it seems for regular "hackers", or players to achieve creating bots... Would a player not technically NEED access to the systems codes to make the characters port from one harvest node, to another? Would companies be more aggressive against gold spammers/bots if they did not "control" them?
Sure, they say they're frustrated, but as we see in pretty much every Mmorpg out there, nothing is really "Done" about bots, they continue to exist, but for what reason? Could it be that these companies are trying to make an extra buck?
If we think about it, those who buy gold are banned right? But if they want to play again, they're also forced into buying another copy of a game right? So, seeing how bots are never eliminated, and they continue to exist as Dev's "Say" they're frustrated about these things, isn't it quite possible that someone with knowledge of the game, or someone with the "Code" to the game could personally make these bots in order to make more money?
Just a thought anyways, been in my head for a while, it doesn't make much sense to me considering we're talking about the game devs who could literally walk into the game, blow a bot to a million pieces, blood and all, and just have the game full of these "Spammers/Node gatherers".
just a thought I suppose.
