Why? You had to get him up to at least 300cp, why would you make that his first dungeon instead of doing some normal ones while leveling? Just curious.

You only need 300 CP to queue for vDLC. You can walk into vWGT immediately after leaving character creation. But you need a preformed group to get as far as the end boss in that case.
I always thought non-vet characters couldn’t enter a veteran instance even if they travelled in. Interesting.

I just drop dots on the mages and let them die and attack a different mage if another player is already attacking, guaranteed not to bug them out. It only bugs if they die too fast like 2 dps use direct attack on the same mage and it dies instantly.
Its a new glitch(relatively speaking) that has only been happening last patch or two...new glitches takes some time to get resolved, they rarely patch the game other than updates...you know this. Its not a game breaking glitch, minor inconvenience at best, far better than the lich glitch in say vFL where it would prevent you from completing the dungeon at all. Sure..if you are going for no death its aggravating, other than that, its one of the things on their list to be fixed next patch I am sure.

Correct about not needing to be 300 except for the queue, but you still need to be 50 to get into a vet. I've tried, even in premade groups you're locked out until 50.

You are correct. Can't go in a Vet dungeon until CP 10 or higher.

Well, you have to be at least CP 10 to walk or port in.

Interesting. Wonder when that changed. I could have sworn I’ve walked into vet instances on non-vet toons.

He leveled himself to CP 110 without ever going to a dungeon. My life has been busy and I couldn't play much with him until now. We queued for a random vet and it was WGT. WGT is easy and so we decided to do HM. The final boss glitched because of stupid code. You people are focusing on the wrong thing; who cares that his first dungeon was vet HM WGT. The damn thing was broke, that's the real problem...

This is a major flaw, the ideal way to play (yes there is an ideal) is to aim to participate in everything.
It is a major mistake to not start playing the dungeons at earlier levels.
Participate in Dungeons & PvP (BG & War), The longer you go avoiding it the harder you’re going to make it for yourself.
Players avoid this content and yet are surprised when they’re bad at it.

Ran this dungeon dozens of times, and only had it glitch once(took 3 tries to get it done). I think it has something to do with necromancer skills. The game trying to create a corpse on death, while the minion is supposed to explode. Resulting in the glitch.

the dungeon was bugged. I have encountered that bug myself and its extremely annoying. what my SO and I ended up doing was running into the edge of the platform and resetting the fight, but the thing is - we shouldn't have had to.
this is NOT about being bad or not, its about fight BUGGING OUT and becoming unfinishable. because of a BUG.
and its an old bug too, this is not something that just happened in a recent patch.
