Trying to fully understand this set.
Does it proc when you use force shock from the destruction staff abilities ?
And when it procs , you do have 8 seconds of extra spell damage. Those 8 seconds ... are they for all your damage ?
In other words. Does that extra spelldamage work on you LA and HA , on other abilities (even if not flame) ?
And is it true that the extra spell damage is against all enemies , and not solely the one you just attacked ?

✭✭I can't see any reason force shock wouldnt proc it.
Yes, the increased spell damage is to everyone not just the target you hit. Only the burning status effect is target specific.0 -

It procs on any fire damage so force shock will proc it. Light attacks from fire staff will proc it too. Any attack that you do that causes fire damage on the enemy will proc it.
The answer to all your other questions is yes.0 -

Basically, if you open with Wall of Elements off a Flame Staff and keep it up, you are covered, Burning Spellweave will proc every 12 seconds like clockwork.1 -

✭✭Well , then this seems a very very VERY good set !
When you deal damage with a Flame Damage ability, you apply the Burning status effect to the enemy and increase your Spell Damage by 490 for 8 seconds. These effects can occur once every 12 seconds.
You get a buff of 490 spell damage for 8s every 12s, effectively this gives you (490/12)x8=326.7 spell damage. So if you have maximum uptime the 5pc bonus is roughly 8% stronger than Julianos 300 spell damage for example. The downside cast strong attacks outside the proc window and miss out on the buff. If you proc BSW after 13s instead of 12s the effective buff is pretty much the same as Julianos.
I would recommend Siroria if you want a lot of spell dmg, Medusa is also very good but the fire staff has a low drop chance.PC - EU (AD)Septimus Mezar - Altmer Sorcerer

Any set that says "ability" also buffs and procs off of light attacks for the corresponding type. As far as sets are concerned ZOS considers light and heavy attacks abilities. If you are holding a flame staff your light attacks do indeed proc this set.
I feel like a lot of people on these forums never actually test anything out themselves.0 -

I've tested it out plenty of times and none of my flame staves proc the dang thing without a flame enchantment. I've tested it over and over and got the same results.
Ok, you got me to test it a 4th time and found the reason in my previous tests it didn't work was I was testing it on my whacky and weird build using a Mythic so both bars had a different set active. Went back and equipped 5 light armor pieces of BSW armor and tested it with a flame staff with a berserker enchantment. It worked.
