This is pretty much what people actually mean when they talk about endgame in MMOs. Some people here seem to be way too literal with the term.

Because the term was mostly used in that way before addictive, habit-forming games with endless gameplay loops were created. Those types of endless games then appropriated the term even though it doesn't make sense as these games have no endings. Some of us like language and word use making sense.

Mainly because I myself had it happen that i had a very different mindset of endgame when i was lower CP compared to now
