Well, I'm not a console player, but I imagine it's a bittersweet outcome-- sweet that the situation was resolved within 24 hours, but bitter that some players lost a day of login rewards, crafting income, jubilee boxes, event tickets, etc.
I mean, players who took care of those things yesterday between 2 AM EDT and 4 AM EDT didn't lose out, but players who couldn't log in and play during that brief 2-hour period lost out.
And players might not lose any daily login rewards, depending on when they logged in on Sunday night/Monday morning and when they log in on Tuesday.
Extending the event is a nice gesture, but I'm sure it won't completely mollify some of the players.
The most important thing, though, is that the situation is resolved. A big thank you is in order to everyone at ZOS and Sony who worked to get the issue figured out and resolved.
Mea culpa. I didn't expect them to work this hard for us. It shows that they are truly dedicated to us still. The timing seemed so suspicious to me, but there hard work and dedication has greatly reassured this customer. I don't know what the future will hold for eso on Playstation, but for now my faith in ZeniMax is restored. Happy to be wrong. Good Job ZOS! 🥳
