@Araneae6537 from my experience I would say the key to making structural items fit together is mixing textures. One long smooth Alinor wall never looks right but you just can't put your finger on it. Break that Alinor wall up with some different textures like wood or the worn Alinor arch and it just sits better. In this build I used over 40 markarth doorways, for no other function than to break up and help other structural items sit better together.
Not sure if that's any value to you but that's my approach
