I would be shocked if companions did anything above 20K. I'm betting ~10K is about where we'll land. They want these to supplement the player experience, not steamroll it... right?
Can you imagine a bot following you around that blasts out 50K DPS on a Delve boss?
I'd be happy to be wrong (for the sake of my pseudo-solo vet DLC dungeon runs in the future), but I seriously think some of y'all are super optimistic to be hoping for anything in the 30-50K range. Even if we're talking about Iron Atro numbers (side note: I hate that that's how everyone measures base DPS now, it's totally unrealistic 95+% of the time!), 20K DPS from what is essentially an autonomous pet would unbalance a lot of the game to a laughable degree.
I'd love to have a companion who could pump out 50K DPS... but I don't think ZOS would love for me to have it.
