We need "character name@userId" format option in the interface.

Right now you can toggle between showing userId or character names. Switching to userId is very beneficial in PvP, since you will now recognize people, but I wish to see their player names too.

    Isn't there an option to show both?

    I can't log in right now to check, but I'm sure that's one of the things I'm using the Azurah addon to hide (so I only see character names).

    I don't have Azurah and i see both on some characters.

    It may be an option in the base game UI. Unless it is part of Advanced UI, which i doubt.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    I think its always both shown. You just decide whats first directly under the health bar.

    You don't need an addon for this...
    The options on base game allow you to choose that UI displays (char name)(account name) or (account name)(char name) when you point to a char.

    To be clear: I think this is a base game option.

    I only mentioned Azurah because I remember when I downloaded it setting it up to hide account names and only show character names. I don't think they'd offer that option if showing both wasn't part of the base UI.

    No guys, what they're saying is, "We can currently see @Name, or CharacterName, or @Name/CharacterName combined... but I want CharacterName/@Name as a format as well, please!"

    And I'd second that vote. When there's only 4 combinations of formatting for names in-game and in chat etc., it seems odd to offer only 3 of them. Furthermore, Character then User seems like the most logical layout to me as well; I always thought it was odd it wasn't an option.

    I can confirm in the vanilla game there is no option to see both in the chatbox. I would love to see both.

    The vanilla game shows you both when you mouse over someone yes, but not in the chatbox

    Not only in chat box - in BG stats, in nameplates (above character head).

    Idk why people say it is configurable in game, I don't have such option. I'm playing on PC if that matters. Will try Azurah, but I highly doubt it does anything, because nameplates should be addon-free.

    I set the built-in game settings to prefer @ names, but this isn't consistent for everything, so I use pChat to see both in chat and AUI to see @ in group frame.

    But I haven't found anything yet that changes the group roster window (P) to @ names.

    I would really like to see this option also and show level (cp, etc) next to players names when we are grouped. Addons already accomplish this. You can currently only put your crosshairs over players to see their level. Again, just the option, not forced.
