Site for Boss mechanics?

Pino
Pino
Is there a clear and lovely site for boss mechanics? Not full dungeon walkthroughs, only mechanics.

As a tank (looks like we have to know every mechanic because dd's don't care...) its hard to find clear/short info's about it.
Often you only find 10m+ Videos with all this trash talk, sh-it intros/music or full novels and click bite blogs...

Thanks :)

Honestly, mechanic guides are helpful in places where you may get stuck, or things aren't too clear. But really, for most content just experience during the fight is going to be far better than a guide. Especially since many approaches to mechanics are dependent on the type of build you have.

Alcast's is very far from full. It does have all the dungeons, but it's missing a lot of mechanics, probably because dungeon running isn't his #1 past time plus he runs them with op deeps, burning through everything (which is great on its own - but not so much for seeing mechanics to re-tell them to less dps-y groups).

Alas I don't really have a better source myself. I prefer figuring it out in the game from people or with people, if I get too stuck, I read up Alcast for some pointers, sometimes it helps (Frostvault HM comes to mind. Admittedly that one I would still be figuring out lol), sometimes it doesn't. Imo it's more fun to learn it from people on the go (just as long as said people don't mind explaining it).

If you have any specific questions you're unclear on, you could ask here and someone is bound to answer.

I use either Alcast, Xynode gaming or fextralife.

Between these 3, I never have issue learning mechanincs before running a particular dungeon/trials.

Did you knew that, apparently, the maw of the infernal was designed to be damaged by the fire trap, at the room's entrance? That'd be why he have so much HP, for a non-dlc boss.
Mechanics can be neat, even for base game dungeons !

I find Xynode's "all about mechanics" videos to be the top-tier source for learning mechanics in dungeons and trials.

Alcast has good guides, but I do wish they were a little more detail-oriented. I think because he plays on PC with a great group a lot of little things end up being glossed over that a console and/or newer player might find pertinent that he may not consider much of a factor. But still a good source.
