Event Tickets: Allowing me to purchase fragments on alternate toons I already have sigh.....

I'm running the Jester's Festival with a new alternate and after obtaining 12 tickets I went to the impresario. I saw fragments for something I think it's the morph pet for 5 tickets each and the game said I did not have those yet. I purchased them and then the next day purchased the final fragment. When i went to combine them it stated I already had that collectable.

SOOOO my question is, is this how this is on alternate toons when burning event tickets? I would think if you had the collectable or pet or whatever already it would give you some indication that you ALREADY have it so you don't buy it again. It's my fault for forgetting but still it sucks.

On a similar note I'm assuming there is no way to return the fragments for tickets? I'd think perhaps you could sell them back, it would be nice.

Thanks all in advance, it sucks to waste 15 tickets!

You'll need to morph your pet again after you "use" it to create your skin, so you're able to buy the new fragments so that you can immediately make your new pet after use.

So, if you are going to buy the pieces to get the skin, or the house, or whatever else you can morph your pet into, you'll have to buy the base "pet" parts again to get another morph, or have the pet itself.

Those fragments are all account-wide, so it doesn't matter that you're on an alt.

This is the same mechanic as with the Indrik and the Nascent Indrik, so nothing has changed in that regard (other than the base cost going from 40 tickets to 15 tickets)

Oh so I need to take the original pet and then buy the fragments to morph it(I think they are 10 tickets each). Once I do that I can use these three fragments I just bought to create a new base pet then but another set of fragments?

I'd think that once you have the "base" pet like I do you could use the that base pet over and over again?

Sigil stone pet is made of 3 fragments that cost 5 tickets each so 3x5=15. The deadlands skin is made of three fragments each costing 10 tickets and they require the sigil stone to be combine and made into the collectible skin. Doing that the pet is consumed and you need 15 tickets more to create a new one.

By the end of the year, you will need to have created 5 of the pets total in order to have all of the Morphs and the Base pet at the end.

The pet will be "used up" when you morph it to something else. So you would have to buy three fragments again. Once you morph it to something else, you will be able to use the fragments that you purchased.

You create the base pet each time, similar to the style of events we have had the previous two years.

They need some reason for you to do the quests. At least its less tickets than the indriks.

You did a perfectly correct and valid thing by buying the 3 fragments again. :)

However, at the end of the year you'll want to pay attention and stop buying fragments after you create the pet for the 5th time, because any fragments you buy then will be a waste of tickets!

The following sequence of events is flexible depending on things like when you begin participating in the events and whether or not you want to skip any particular reward, but it should give you a general idea:

    Start buying pet fragments.
    Start buying skin fragments.

Combine all 3 pet fragments to create pet.
    You now have the pet.
    Start buying pet fragments again.

Combine all 3 skin fragments and morph pet into skin.
You now have the skin but not the pet.
    Stop buying skin fragments!
    Start buying personality fragments.

Combine all 3 pet fragments to create pet.
You now have the pet and the skin.
    Start buying pet fragments again.

Combine all 3 personality fragments and morph pet into personality.
You now have the skin and the personality, but not the pet.
    Stop buying personality fragments!
    Start buying mount fragments.

Combine all 3 pet fragments to create pet.
You now have the pet, the skin, and the personality.
    Start buying pet fragments again.

Combine all 3 mount fragments and morph pet into mount.
You now have the skin, the personality, and the mount, but not the pet.
    Stop buying mount fragments!
    Start buying house fragments.

Combine all 3 pet fragments to create pet.
You now have the pet, the skin, the personality, and the mount.
    Start buying pet fragments again.

Combine all 3 house fragments and morph pet into house.
You now have the skin, the personality, the mount, and the house, but not the pet.
    Stop buying house fragments!

Combine all 3 pet fragments to create pet.
You now have the pet, the skin, the personality, the mount, and the house.
    Stop buying pet fragments!
