That one annoys me the most, and even when you're really far away from the NPC's, you can STILL hear them talking as if you were close to them. The radius for audible sounds seems a bit overkill. At least with "Do you know how long I've been looking for you" and many others, we can just take the quest and they will stop. Bad design choice for sure as it annoys the player imho, but at least we have a workaround with the quest-giver. ZOS should definitely make some adjustments, this one does not know when, but he hopes his family is safe in Riverhold until then.

If your timing is perfect when stepping out of the inn at the Vulkhel Guard wayshrine, all three start to talk at the same time...
