Anybody doing this? Med armor + Dest staff + Nightblade

As the title suggests, is anybody playing a Nightblade in medium armor with a destruction staff?
Seems like a frost staff's 'slow' effect, with Nighblade 'Cripple' spell could be a fun combination, along with other siphoning goodies and stealth.
Would love to hear some experiences with this if anybody has tried it.

demendred✭✭✭✭Iv'e seen a few NBs at level 50 with a Destruct staff and what I think was med armor. Seems like an interesting mix. Myself, Im trying a Brenton NB with restore staff, and assassin traits. No STAM attack. Im kinda iffy about the siphoning, but I haven't really played NB fully. Made a few, deleted them, made more, messed up, ect. If you do plan on doing that, best of luck on the build! Let us know how it goes.All good Nords goto Sto'Vo'Kor.0 -

✭✭✭I did it for a while (35 to VR 2)with Heavy armor + Fire staff.I tried the frost stuff but it didn't work that well but maybe that was just me. The slow was not very effective and I wanted to use the Dunmer fire damage bonus and the stun effect of Destructive Clench. It is kind of hard/infective to use sneak when you are doing a most of your damage with AOE but can get you a good opening. With siphoning attacks things can work pretty nicely for the destruction NB since you do not actually need much mana or mana regen.. It can get a bit slow in VR though.

Worstluck✭✭✭✭✭I played up to 50 with a Breton nightblade caster. Focused on destro staff and siphoning. Cripple (with the immobilize morph) and Funnel Health is pretty awesome. I went full light armor though pretty much. The bonuses for medium armor do not add much for casters.
I also went healer for a couple ranks which worked pretty well, but I was missing the nice templar abilities. Currently running my nightblade full tank with heavy armor and I can tank pretty much anything forever thanks to the Leeching Strikes skill. You can put on the medium armor chest for the looks. But yes I don't see much use for medium armor if you don't go Assassination/Shadow unless you like Evasion.Good replies, thanks!

Chili✭✭I decided to make a warlock type caster. Tried several Sorc builds then decided on Nightblade focusing on siphons with a healing staff.
