Werewolf pets cannot be targeted.
I've mained a werewolf for 4 years, they used to be target able, so we'd just hide behind them. It was incredibly cheap, so no complaints that they changed it.
But why the heck are sorcs still able to hide behind a Familiar, Twighlite Engine Guardian, Daedroth and Atronach? It's ridiculous.

At this point I’d prefer that pets in PvP become untargettable because nobody kills them either.
Even worse when the pets are invunerable (talking about you werewolves) at least in this case, THAT cannot be denied as being abusive
Hmm I didn't noticed that... Honestly, When Happened recently I was so sure that I was hitting the Pet that I missed several chances on the were...Nord_Raseri wrote: »

Because sorc pets take up 2 bar slots each. If they weren't targetable, they'd be pretty useless for their skill bar cost to run. Plus, you can kill them and force the sorc to spend a cooldown recasting.

I've complained about it a lot in the past but on one seemed to care. I see a pet sorc I just straight up ignore it, garbage player with garbage build, not worth my time or getting frustrated over it. Basically if I see pets of any kind, I immediately look for a target in the OPPOSITE directions lol!
There are obvious fixes like making them untargetable but realize that this would make pets in pvp completely useless, not that I would mind. AI belongs in pve anyway, but every game has that one gimmick for the special players..
I once saw a 12 man ball group in Cyrodiil using this set up. All of them were Sorc with all pets active + occasionally they were placing multiple Atronaches at once. In addition they had some random pets from proc sets (like Maw of the Infernal).master_vanargand wrote: »Group of 4MagSorc in BGs
(1pet + 1MagSorc) * 4 = 8 targets
(2pet + 1MagSorc) * 4 = 12 targets
(3pet + 1MagSorc) * 4 = 16 targets
(4pet + 1MagSorc) * 4 = 20 targets
I think this is a nightmare.

It is their fav class
A good sorc this patch doesn’t usually run pets at all. Are you sure you didn’t step in a time machine....
You all know sorc pets eat 2 of your bar spaces right? Also they tend to run all over the place as well. In cyro I felt kind of bad when we were defending a door and I noticed the enemy was heavy attacking my pets for free resource. Players los'd to keep the enemy players dry but you can't really keep pets back.
They also die fast to any decent dps as they don't gain armor at all. I had to resummon them a lot, costing a lot of magicka.
Doesn't tab targeting help you? I stopped hitting pets by using it.

Tab targeting in ESO has never forced your skill to hit the highlighted target. Your skills can still hit the pets even if you highlight something else. It's literally just a highlight.
Regarding pets like engine guardian. Bashing it should force it to despawn. Currently if you bash it, it will continue to give resources after the stun ends, which shouldn't be a thing. Dame thing with chokethorn. Bashing those pets should instantly cause them to despawn.
