Burning Spellweave and Stalking Blastbones

Ugh. Can someone explain, why this ability doesn't activate Burning Spellweave buff? It says you get the buff after attacking with fire based ability. SB is fire based ability. So... why? Is it because SB deals AOE damage? If so, ZOS should change the description of this set's bonus.

✭✭Blastbones don't count as your own damage for many sets, this goes so far that the killcounter addon won't detect a kill with blastbones as yours.
Same thing happens for the spirit mender who's healing doesn't count as your healing for sets or battleground healing stats3 -

skooma_dealer✭✭✭This is actually kind of funny and stupid at the same time. Item description assumes, that you must use flame damage ABILITY, but:
- SB is your ability and it does not proc set bonus;
- Fire damage glyph is a passive bonus from your weapon, not an ability. And it does proc it.

✭✭✭✭✭IMO Blastbones isn’t frequent enough to reliably proc BSW anyway. Inferno Light Attack weaving and/or a Fire damage DoT like Wall will give it max uptime.0
