Booted for spamming

In the past i've read multiple post from people being booted for unintentionaly spaming. Be it leveling crafting or an addon.
Now since im planing to hand in about 300 crafting writs during the event, am i risking to get a ban? Is there anything one should note, like a maximum amount per time period? Or am i free to go?

✭A few months ago I got kicked from the server when I handed in 70 writs or so in one go, used writ worthy addon to automate the turn-ins. Got kicked after I turned all of them in. It's not that big deal though, I could log in again a minute later or so, and that was it.
I did over 200 master writs after FoA in the same way but didn't get kicked. So yeah, I wouldn't worry too much, you might get kicked, but I would be shocked if you got banned.Edited by Bucky_13 on March 24, 2021 11:14AM1 -

Thanks, im on console so there is no way for shortcuts. But i'll just hand them in not too quick then.
If you're on console, I think you'll be good even if you do it as fast as possible. I've turned in Master Writs without addons years ago, and never got booted for that. I usually turn in 70-80 writs in less than 5 minutes when I do them. And usually don't get a kick.
As a side note, the best server boot I ever got was when I somehow got stuck inside a woodworking station while doing my daily writs, which sent so many messages to the server that I got kicked. Managed to port out from the WW station that I was still stuck in after I logged in again.....1

✭I've been booted for leveling alchemy a ton but think I figured out a way around it on PC. Try using your mouse instead of only your keyboard. I got booted for it trying to rush through on keys alone but mouse was fine.
Not sure if anything changed since then because that was during greymoor.That one khajiit obsessed with werewolf behemoth and vampire lord. Lady Thorn is bae, dont @ me.

ha no the message said you've been kicked for spamming and I wasn't idle long enough to get kicked for that0 -
iksde✭✭✭✭I remember I once got kicked for "spamming" while being stuck between big crate and wall somewhere in quest location in western skyrim
wile I was stuck it was so awful stuck....my character couldnt fall on grount when I jumped behind crate (between wall and crate)...I was constantly...I dont even know lol, my character was jsut stuck bwteeen crate and wall like falling and unable to touch ground and after moment in this state I was getting kick from game for spamming....I barely had time to type unstuck and to get this unstuck worked for me before kick....I had like if I didng use stuck option withing maybe 5 seconds from logged in I was again booted from server for spamming when I was waiting for stuck to reset my character position....2 -

These are probably responsible for a lot of hidden server-client communication thus leave just the necessary ones as an additional precaution.I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.0 -

Yes, when you get booted for spamming it's not because of anything you did. It's usually caused by a lag spike in your network connection where a bunch of messages to the server (including things as simple as "move one step forward") get delayed and then all arrive at the same time. The server then freaks out and boots you because it thinks you're part of a DDOS attack.3 -

✭Just got booted while handling Master Writs that I did craft them with the help of WritWorthy addon YESTERDAY. I was delivering manually because, guess what, though I triple checked yesterday if I was carrying both the contract and the crafted item TWICE, items vanished from my inventory and I was checking and delivering again, one by one.

After a good while trying to log back in, loaded chars and city, the group I was in was impolitely disbanded. Then, without even handling another writ (since I wouldn't have the extra XP for being grouped), I started asking for someone else to group with me and I was booted AGAIN.

I handed in all of them while being in a group, did not get bootet. Ofcourse no addons on console. Also i didn't loose any precraftet items.0 -

Seems silly. I have an addon speeding up my writs but alchemy is being levelled the old fashioned way0
