Proc sets and front/back bar

Hello guys. I'm keep hearing that it's better to have a proc set on your jewerly and weapons so you keep having the effect even if you switch bars. The thing is I recently golded my weapons and now I use mother's sorrow on rings, necklace and inferno staff, MA staff back bar, bsw armor and valkyn monster set. But I still don't get it. I tried with the front bar and got the effect of bsw and I still had it when I changed bars. So why is everyone saying I should have this set on weapons. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

    Mother's sorrow isn't a proc. You lose it when weapon swapped to the MA weapon. If you proc bsw on weapon, then swap weapons, it stays active on the MA weapon.

    I see. So what can I do now? Would it be a big deal if I keep bsw on armor?
