Crystal Weapon (Sorcerer) + Imbue Weapon (Psijic)?

Hey there,
do both work at the same time? So can I activate Crystal Weapon, after that Imbue Weapon (Elemental Weapon/Crushing Weapon) and LA afterwards for a massive burst? Or are those skills exclusive and don't work at the same time?
In combination with Bound Armaments and a LA build empower build this sounds like a pretty nice idea on paper.
And on another note: does Overload Light Attack count towards Crystal Weapon / Imbue Weapon? And do Overload LAs get buffed by Empower and sets that increase the damage of LAs? I'm not a Sorc player per se, that's why I'm curious and need some clarification.

Yes you can.
With just a few changes to my skills I've been able to one-shot giants and mammoths (about 120k hp). That was before U29 though, no idea if it's still possible.The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

universal_wrath✭✭✭✭✭They all stack. It only work for overland pve and gank Pvp. Combo takes long to activate while being visaully noticable makes it easy to dodge by players. Also, don't forget that both crystal and imbue weapon have short duration so you only use/activate them when you are 100% ready to fire.Edited by universal_wrath on March 23, 2021 9:38AM1 -

✭Practicability aside, it would work. But sustain will be tough, assuming a combined BASE cost of exactly 5k Stamina.
And you wont be able to "precast", meaning out of combat. A lot of utility of stacking LA/HA damage bonuses is gone this patch...
I used to be able to do 120k damage on a heavy attack, too.

✭✭✭✭✭Crystal Weapon lasts longer than Imbue Weapon so when performing this combo cast it first. Will make landing the double attack much easier on foes, and I've learned is someone dodges just light attack again as the abilities will probably still be in effect. If not when they impact cast one of them quickly and for some weird reason the ability will hit them.
