Does maticulous disassembly stack with say metal extraction or do I use one or the other?

✭Yes. It acts as an extra point in the skill so 0/3+MD=1/3, 1/3+MD=2/3 2/3+MD=3/3 and 3/3+MD=4/3. The extra bit from 4/3 isn't too big, but it's there.
I'm not sure anyone tested how it works with decon, but it was tested with refining on PTS.2 -
