CP active nodes swap cooldown

Two pain points that should be addressed somehow in future update.

Firstly cooldown simply taking too much time and should be at least decreased, but if it's here to stay in that exact way as on live right now you should at least consider adding a timer that would prevent us from sitting in the menu swapping back and forth with no result.

Also it's having poor indication if the nodes swap failed due to cooldown, you could simply not even notice that if executed on decent speed and just have no star equipped which should also be looked at.

    I think the cooldown was added because of the terrific addon for the green (tree/whatever).

    Can't remember what it's called anymore.

    I did not used the add-on myself, but I remember some people were saying that it worked till server maintenance. Most likely they added cool-down server-side only, with no need to patch the game client.

    It kinda seems like a "panic" solution. They must be aware that green CP are poorly designed, and although CP rebalance was received relatively OK-ish - green CP are huge pain point and subject of numerous feedback threads.

    Almost all non-combat specific CPs should be actual "passive" passives, without the need to actually slot them. Pretty much every player agrees on that so far.

    A good mid-solution would be to have cool-down on slotting CP reduced, with added UI, so we could see what CPs are active during gameplay (just like food buff icon for example). Adding CP presets could also be nice - so if we had them unlocked, we can swap CP preset with a button.

    Why not just... not have an excessive number of green slotables? The verticality problem doesn't really apply to the green tree.

    It's probably more that they want you to choose which slottables you have, and that add-on bypassed that.

    Plus console don't have that luxury.

    But yeh, I think a lot more should be passive.

    Like plentiful harvest, master gatherer and the decon one should definitely be passive. Fishing side, thieving/assassin side and mount stuff I think are fine as slottables.

    Agree. I can't understand why the green tree isn't in line with the other two tree in therms of ratio passives/slottables.

    Agree. I can't understand why the green tree isn't in line with the other two tree in therms of ratio passives/slottables.

    I believe their excuse for differences in those constellations was as it's still work in progress and there would be more sub categories and passives/actives BUT sometime in the future. Probably we'll see it bit by bit each chapter/dlc, as always.

    The best solution for the Green Tree is to not have anything slottable and all stars just active based on points entered.
